November ended nicely with a Thanksgiving dinner with the students (and some small family members). Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, all the trimmings!
We wrapped up our final classes for Live, Learn, Grow for the semester, but that does not mean that we won’t see our students again. We’re having another holiday party on Thursday, December 8th, to celebrate the end of the semester as well as the season.
Some of us Student Services Advisors are headed to Chicago next week for the SSA Academy. We’ll meet up with our colleagues to share knowledge and learn from each other’s experience in order to better serve our students.
