American University’s Master of Arts in International Affairs: International Economic Relations (IER) degree provides students with the skills needed to build an in-depth understanding of the market, political, and other forces that drive the economic globalization process. It also examines the public and private factors and institutions that shape international trade and financial developments and policies. Students learn to engage with critical issues in the field and have the opportunity to incorporate a career-oriented practicum and intensive Skills Institutes to further their professional training.
